Conductor and Music Director: Tetsuya Yamamoto
He holds master's degrees in composition from the National College of Music Graduate School, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon in France, and the Royal Conservatoire of Mons in Belgium, where he studied conducting under N. Kruger, L. Gaussaire, A. Bloch, F. Thibone, and R. Durput. During his studies, he also participated in masterclasses with A. Azan-Zielinski, Kanako Abe, and Masakazu Natsuda. Utilizing the musical knowledge and score reading skills cultivated during his composition studies, he has a diverse repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary music, and continues to be active in both composition and conducting. He is currently a member of the Franco-Japanese Society for Contemporary Music, a part-time lecturer at the National College of Music, and the music director/conductor of Ensemble Recurrent.

Flute: Takahiro Uchiyama
After graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music Affiliated High School, she entered Tokyo University of the Arts. She studied at the Paris Regional Conservatory and the École Normale de Musique de Paris, and after graduating from the first course at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, she completed the second course at the same conservatory.
After winning awards in domestic and international competitions, she has been active in Japan, organizing concerts and performing as a guest artist.
Instructor at Muramatsu Flute Lesson Center.
She completed the second cycle (Master's program) at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. She has won prizes in numerous domestic and international competitions, including the Japan Music Competition, the Japan Wind and Percussion Competition, the All Japan Student Music Competition, the Matsukata Music Award, and the Aurèle Nicolet International Flute Competition. In 2024, she won third prize at the 30th Janáček International Music Competition and first prize at the 35th Japan Woodwind Competition.
Currently, she works as a freelance musician, guest performing with orchestras and contemporary music ensembles throughout Japan. She is a member of spac-e and a member of TMG Music Planning, where she presides over the "Monten Recital Series +C." She is also the representative of Ensemble Recurrence.
Bassoon: Kensuke Nishibori
After graduating from the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Law, Keio University, and working for a private company, she completed the advanced course in bassoon at Tokyo University of the Arts. She won the top prize at the 1st All Japan Bassoon Ensemble Competition and placed third at the 39th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. She also participated in the Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Opera Project XX.
He has studied bassoon under Nobuyoshi Maeda, Yota Minakami, and Masayuki Okamoto. Currently, he is enrolled in the Toho Orchestra Academy training program while also performing as a guest orchestra member and in chamber music.
Clarinet: Kaoru Nishimura
Graduated from Tokyo College of Music. Performed at the Yamaha Wind Instrument Newcomer's Concert. Subsequently, she went to France and honed her skills at the Conservatoire à rayonnement à la Courneuve and other institutions. Participated in contemporary music workshops with Ensemble Alternance. After returning to Japan, she has been active as a guest performer with orchestras, in musicals, and in improvisational live performances. In 2022, she served as the soloist for the premiere of "Irradiance" for Clarinet and 7 players at Kazutomo Yamamoto's showroom "Komatta Otoko". Finalist in the contemporary music performance competition "Kyōraku XII". Excellence Award winner at the Ichikawa City Cultural Promotion Foundation's "5th Improvisation Audition". Member of the improvisational duo OKA-ARUKI and Oburo Clarinet Ensemble. Member of the Nerima Ward Musicians Association.

Oboe: Masato Oki
After graduating from the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Law, Meiji Gakuin University, she pursued a career in music and enrolled in Kunitachi College of Music. She dropped out of the university and moved to Germany, where she transferred to the Karlsruhe University of Music. After graduating from the graduate school with a major in oboe, she also graduated from the graduate school with a major in chamber music.
He has studied oboe with Thomas Indermühle, Christian Schmidt, and Domenico Orlando. He has also studied chamber music with the late Eduard Brunner and Ralph Gottoni.
Percussion: Masayuki Niino
Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. Won top prizes at the PAS International Percussion Competition in Italy, the JEJU International Brass and Percussion Competition in South Korea, and the Japan International Percussion Competition.
In addition to performing throughout Japan as a regional creative project artist, she has expanded her activities to include appearances in the Tokyo Opera City-sponsored "B→C" series and the NHK radio program "Recital Passio."
Percussion: Nao Takayama (Appeared in the 2nd performance)
Born in 2002. Graduated from the Department of Performance and Composition, String, Wind and Percussion Instruments (Percussion) at Kunitachi College of Music. While enrolled, performed in the 112th Solo and Chamber Music Regular Concert. Upon graduation, performed in the 49th Tokyo Alumni Association Newcomer's Concert. Received the Excellence Award and the Tomoyuki Okada Award at the 18th JBA Tokyo-Kanagawa Wind and Percussion Solo Contest. Performed in the Toshio Hosokawa 70th Birthday Commemorative Concert "50 Years of Change". Participated in the Cabinet of Curiosities-sponsored Cabicuri Academy 2026. Instructor at Tokyo College of Music.
Piano: Eri Sugimori
She graduated from the Piano Performance Department of Kunitachi College of Music, where she also completed the Ensemble Course and the Accompaniment Course in the Instrumental Music Department of the Graduate School of Music. She has studied piano with Noriko Kanayama, Yuko Uchikawa, and Ichiro Kato, and accompaniment with Kayoko Miki.
In addition to winning third place in the duo division of the 22nd Osaka International Music Competition, they also received the Best Duet Award at the 12th Wind and Percussion Solo Contest.
In 2023, I participated in the "Listen and Learn Concert" series by flutist Takahiro Uchiyama.
Piano: Shoichiro Tanaka (performed in the first performance)
Born in 1990. Pianist, composer, and arranger. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School. As a pianist, she has performed a wide range of music from classical to contemporary, and has collaborated with ensembles such as Ensemble Nomad, the New Japan Philharmonic, and the Geidai Philharmonic on piano concertos by Ligeti and others. She has also held solo recitals, including the "B→C" series organized by the Opera City Foundation. As a composer, her works are performed both in Japan and internationally. She is currently a lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts (Composition and Solfège Departments), Tokyo College of Music, and the Yamaha Master Class.
Violin: Shungo Mise
After graduating from Tokyo College of Music, she completed her postgraduate studies at Toho Gakuen University. She won first prize in the general string instrument division of the 1st Yokohama International Music Competition. She received a scholarship from the same competition and studied at the École Normale de Musique de Paris. She returned to Japan in 2010. She is the representative of the general incorporated association Awaza. She is a member of mmm..., Relation '70, Meguro String Quartet, Orchestra Triptyque, and others, and is active in a wide range of activities including solo, chamber music, and orchestral performances. She is also a specially appointed lecturer at Toho Gakuen College of Music.
Violin/Viola: Kei Sakoda
Graduated from Tokyo College of Music. Entered and completed graduate studies at Tokyo College of Music with a scholarship.
Winner of the Grand Prize in the String Instrument Division at the 28th Ichikawa City Newcomer Musician Competition. Participated in Project Q Chapter 10.
In addition to serving as concertmaster of the Orchestra Pitoreza, he is also a member of Orchestra Triptyque and Green Room Players as a violinist and violist. He also teaches at the Machida-Okuma Violin School and WE LOVE MUSIC.
Viola: Shiori Wada (Appeared in the 1st performance)
She won the Suntory Foundation for Arts Award and the Hindemith Award at the 6th Tokyo International Viola Competition. She won first prize at the 10th Vladivostok International Music Competition and second prize at the Japan Performer Competition. She performed Makoto Sato's Violin Concerto with the Vladivostok Symphony Orchestra at the Japan-Russia Friendship Music Exchange Performance in Vladivostok.
She graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music High School and the violin department of the same university. She completed her postgraduate studies in viola at the same university. She studied violin under Chiyoko Noguchi and viola under Toshihiko Ichitsubo and Ryo Sasaki.
A member of the second class of the Welsh Academy, presented by the Welsh String Quartet. Currently enrolled in the NHK Symphony Orchestra Academy.
Cello: Yui Hosoi
She graduated at the top of her class from the String Instruments Department of Tokyo College of Music. She received a scholarship while enrolled. She performed in the graduation concert and the Yomiuri Newcomer Concert. She won first prize and the Koichi Nomura Award in the cello division of the 54th Kamakura Student Music Competition. In 2016, she received the Audience Award at the Munetsugu Hall String Quartet Competition.
He is currently a contract musician with the Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra, an associate player with the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, and a visiting professor at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Padang Panjang campus.
Conductor: Musashi Baba (Appeared in the 2nd performance)
He graduated from the Berlin University of Music with a degree in trombone and from the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts with a degree in conducting. He was an IEMA scholarship recipient in 2018/19. He has worked as an assistant at the Berlin German Opera, the Greek National Opera, and the Jungedeutje Philharmonic, and has studied with many conductors including Sir George Benjamin, Dima Slobodenyuk, and Alejo Pérez. After returning to Japan in 2024, he has been active mainly in the field of contemporary music and has also been involved in many opera productions as an associate conductor at the New National Theatre and other venues. He has conducted over 100 premieres to date. He is the conductor of Ensemble TonSik and a part-time lecturer at Kunitachi College of Music.
Navigator: Hiroyuki Yagi (Appeared in the first performance)
Born in Tokyo in 1990. Graduated from the Department of History, Faculty of Letters, Aoyama Gakuin University, specializing in Art History. Completed the Master's program (Master of Musicology) at the Graduate School of Music, Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts, and the Master 2 Professional Music Program (Méfessionnel Médiation de la Musique) at the Sorbonne University.
While studying at the Sorbonne University, she supervised and appeared as a guest on four classical music features for J-Wave's "MUSIC HUB" program. After returning to Japan from France, she joined AMATI Co., Ltd., where she also became involved in artist management.
In the spring of 2021, she launched the web media "FREUDE" and established Media Sion Co., Ltd. to operate it. She writes numerous program notes and liner notes, mainly for classical music, and also actively gives pre-concert talks.
